Did you ever get your fiat from BitStamp or did you get your BTC back to transfer elsewhere?  My funds are stuck too, it's been a week and no update/progress reported.  I'm happy doing KYC and any other documentation and already set to pay the taxes but literally nothing from them which is making me nervous.

I do think they are reputable and want everything above board but a little visibility into what the delay in would be really useful for customers.  Even if it's

'We are experiencing very high processing volumes, withdrawals are taking much longer than usual".

or even better

'Please just be patient, your withdrawal is looking perfectly fine but this is a significant sum of funds so we need to do extra processing checks with banks before proceeding to make ensure we get this right.  There is nothing to be concerned about and this process is normal.  To set expectations this will take at least another 5 business days to process.  Apologies for the delays but we trust you appreciate us being thorough.  I'm afraid we are unable to offer any expediting since it involves other external organisations also authorising the transfer"
