I'm mining now on https://aikapool.com/pink which is one of the two pools mentioned in the OP of this announcement.  You need to mine using the scrypt algorithm, using a scrypt miner is the fastest and easiest way to do it.  You can do it with gpu's, but you won't make much that way.  You can mine using gpu cards to zpool.ca and get paid in pink if you want or if you have scrypt miners, you can mine scrypt and get paid in pink.
