So you're saying I could have bid 20 @ .001 still won for the same price and gotten double the chips? That is a flawed auction process man. The people who bid first should have priority over a higher quantity bid at the same price that was made later.
I should be on top of the list, then the 10 hour left list you posted with minerjones at top should fill out the rest below me, then you add the other who bid later after that regardless of quantity, because everyone under me bid the same price!
I'm not telling you how to run your auction, and I bid what I bid and will pay what I bid, but there is no logic in this system, what I outlined above is the logical and correct way to do it, with all due respect.
*edited this because we said no first. Sorry , read it wrong. Yes you wouldve gotten double if you bid that.
Because its an auction. Higher bid will always win regardless if they ordered 1 or all.
the 10 hour list was just a list , wasnt in order.
Well then you have a decision to make, you can either :
A) Honor my bid as 10 @ .001 instead because you never stated that's how bidding worked, and divide the lot according to your quantity rules, which were not stated, thus pissing more people off.
B) Honor my bid as 10 @ .002 per set, and divide the rolls accordingly to the bidders, in the order and quantity in which the bids were received.
You can't make up rules after the fact and you can't have it both ways. You clearly stated something similar to "45 min left and 57 of 60 rolls are taken", and then you just gave away earlier bidders rolls to late bidders of quantity.
I'm trying to help you dude, your system is only going to piss people off and cause grief, and on top of that you are hurting yourself, you can't let someone come in last minute and snag a quantity of early bidders rolls at the same price that they secured the roll for, you might as well set a flat price and stay away from auctions!
minerjones will be my escrow
