I think there is no way to give up on gambling, just decrease the amount on your bet to the smallest. Don't let it effect to your life.
Even you're decreasing the amount of your bet then you still doing gambling. You're right no one will help you out of this situation just only yourself.
Try to ask help Lord for sure He can help us about this situation its not easy but there's nothing about trying.
If you guys religious enough then go do that. Realistically people would think it's just wasting time when you only put a hope without doing a concrete action. Just look at people around you who suffering huge lost , broke and even die just because of gambling problem. Make it as a lesson and stop yourself to think about the past. Move on to better life with a better habit rather than continue to gamble.
If we only realize what we are wasting inside this activity, then we can assess ourselves and begin to move forward, gambling can be fun but losing a
lots of money is stressing and will just bring problem to our life, setting up other venue to have some fun and relax ourselves will help us to stay away
from gambling, just change your mindset and fulfill what you desire to quit as quick as you can.
Sad to say some people due to gambling addiction cant realized such thing because once a person enter state of addiction (gambling or any form of) they already loss the ability to think properly so rehabilitation and assistance from outside environment should be be given.
