As a scientist I hope your project will become very successful in the nearest future! 
it will be if the team sticks to the schedule and do their due diligence.
It all depends how accurate their method is and if it will prove to be useful in the future. Right now its hard to say since they didnt disclosed it yet but i believe they have a great product in their hand.
