If you really want to spend your bitcoins directly, and you are from EU, try some kind of bitcoin debit card. Xapo offers a bitcoin debit card that is linked directly to your bitcoin wallet and they exchange the bitcoins on the fly when you use your card in a shop with the POS terminal. Be prepared for KYC and AML processes and their support is really slow because they always have so many support tickets open.
There are some other kind of prepaid VISA cards, you can top up the cards with your bitcoin (and they put fiat on the cards) and you can spend it like using a normal debit/credit card. Maybe it's easier to just exchange your bitcoins to fiat and send it back to your bank account and spend it in fiat.
