Altcoins are having better specs.
I even think that BTC will be less power later.

For the future it could happen but I see Bitcoin getting on top but I don't know how long Bitcoin can survive.
Bitcoin is more strong coin than altcoin, hence its a time of bitcoin. May be in future we will see bitcoin has some little survive but in this time i don't think that any coin is here which compare with bitcoin. But if we see the speculation then people have better thinking about bitcoin not a altcoin.
