My impression is that this is a "hobby/passion" project of the GAMECredits team. Whenever they have some spare time, they do some development on FUNK. However, it's not their main role. So it's pretty quiet here and progression is slow. However, things are happening (given the website screenshot) so I guess it all depends on how long you want to stick around.

I'll just keep holding into 2018 and see what happens.
