If Zerocoin will be really useful for people, people will use it.
w3c, back in the 90's, made it so that everyone who uses the Web does so in a uniform way -- for the most part -- using standards and agreed upon protocols (xhtml, http, tcp/ip, etc.)
Do you think they were malicious in doing what they did back then?
