I would like to know what's your prediction of the price of this coin once it will be accepted in an exchange sites?

What's the ATH price of the old coin (USDE)?

So is this coin the "successor" coin of a previously defunct coin? Or is it like an alternative version or some kind of fork like Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash? Is the old USDE still there and tradable?

Yobit still lists the old USDE coin. We tried to work with them to switch over, but they would not respond to us. USDEX is a new chain, not a fork. We wanted to keep the ideals of USDE and create an updated coin with the newest tech to bring it into the current state of Cryptos.
