I know a lot of people have had a lot of success and ease with the script U3mur4 set up. It also sets up sentinel for you too, so here is a link to his script too:

Used the script on a fresh VPS and have been getting Watchdog_Expired every time I try and start it
It will do that sometimes, but shouldn't last more then 10 minutes to an hour. If sentinel is running and it says watchdog_expired, then Sentinel will vote on the watchdog which makes the watchdog_expired go away. If that doesn't happen then something else is wrong.

Ended up just spinning another VPS up and looks like all is well now
