I registered today at okex and bought DAT without any issues. The price was also the lowest compared to the other exchanges.

you can buy it on some exchange that datum are listed. third party exchange is not banned on US right? only ICO is banned there.
I am not sure about only Ico is banned, but there are not many exchange. As I told already
