I recieved a first friend request in the sphere app. I was exited to see who had added me, but soon found out it was some crazy bitconnect and other ponzies and pyramide schemes referral prostitute.

You will get that with any social platform unfortunately. But Sphere should definitely do as much as they can to minimize spamming.
can you report these scammers presently? it should have that function.
just report them and get them kicked out of the sphere....
