Re: Bitmain Antminer S9 Troubleshooting Blank Hardware Version

Hello Everyone.

In the middle of the night last night, we noticed that one of the S9s we had stopped registering with the pool.  We took a look this AM and saw that the hardware version is missing from the miner main system page and there is no information under status.

So far, we have:

1. Reset power to miner several times.
2. Rebooted miner several times from miner interface.
3. Attempted to download new firmware file, but firmware file will not download. I have tried this many times today already. We are not trying to download to the miner yet, just the file to my PC. There is no success even getting the file.
4. Checked both fans - they are working.
5. Followed instructions for this problem re support site instructions - does not work.
6. We are using Bitmain PSU (changed PSU to a new one - no joy).
7. This is a new miner ordered by us from Bitmain.

I would try to download the latest firmware, but the links that we can find from Bitmain don't seem to work.  We are getting network errors when downloading the files from the links on Bitmain's support page.

Now this problem has spread to 5 other S9s.  None of our D3s or L3s are impacted?  Any ideas?  S9s were working fine and then they simultaneously have the same issue. We have tried all of the above, miner reset button, too.

Also reset the miner with the reset button on the miner.  No luck.
