Anything that challenges the established order is labelled controversial. First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. Bitcoin is currently on step #3.
Controversial is needed and it really helps bitcoin to become more popular and famous. If a certain thing especially business is not talk of the town, you're business will not be known because people are not interested in your product but if they arguable specially bitcoin then it will help to become known or popular. I have already depended bitcoin for many times before from my critics friends but in the end they are now in bitcoin investment too.
