This coin is still 100% alive and it have the best name/ticker a coin can ever have! CASH! 
Yes the source code have not change for a while, But the CASH community is stronger than ever and we've add a new exchange ( https://coinsmarkets.com/trade-BTC-CASH.htm ) this week and are in communication with others.
I agree that trading volume is not really high these days, but I think the major problem was the very very low trade volume on the entire Alcurex exchange so being on other exchange can only help!

Your coin has a good ticker and decent supply. This is a kind of coin that should be at least $0.5 worth in the market. I think the problem is lack of exposure and marketing.
if you can get a roadmap and decent exanges like Livecoin, Cryptopia and mercatox the value would never remain the same again.
And again, work on the wallet and have bounty for social media for people to help get the good news accross.
