when you try 2fa do you have any other ticket open?
I had my ''name missmatch'' ticked opened when I opened the 2fa removal ticket. You don't need to close it and you shouldn't. Just open a new ticket and ask them for 2fa removal + account verification. It took only 2 days for me.
