I am new to the forum and would like to ask a little advice. Please bear in mind that I am not the most computer savvy, so if you could put replies into layman's terms that would be great !
I am currently mining through minergate on my laptop, with the following specs:
Intel® Corei7 Quad Core Processor i7-6700k (4.0GHz) 8MB Cache
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 980M - 8.0GB DDR5 Video RAM, DirectX® 12, G-SYNC
But I only seem to get around 150 H/s through my CPU and around 300 H/s through my GPU. Is there any way I could increase this at all ?

Since after the perfect over clock you done with your laptop it may get burst in two days maximum. Please invest perfect GPU mining cards to start your mining career. You will find the bitcoin mining already no more with the GPU rigs. They are already moved to mine the bitcoin with the ASIC miner such as antminer s7 or s9 and other brands. everybody thinks that hash power will be same in the all altcoins but it differs according to the card and coin. So choose best range with the comparison of card and coin you wish to mine!
