How do we know the other party is reliable? The reputation system only works after people shared their experience. That means the first people to start trading have to take a gamble. As far as I can see it is trivial for a fraud  to pretend to be a company selling products. How did eBay and Alibaba pull this off?

I can relate to your concerns. Ideally, ModulTrade should have seller & buyer protection mechanism integrated into the platform and I assume they have those features. Smiley

This is a good point. I guess if people only trade cryptos it would be easy as ModulTrade would work as smart contract based escrow but if there are real goods involved it gets more difficult to prevent scams.
