It converted to a Proof of Stake coin a couple years ago, so no. But you can earn 3% interest by holding Piggycoin in your wallet and staking it, which is easy to do.
It actually seemed to stake even if your wallet was closed for a while and then re-opened it for a bit, the staking balance seemed to be generous that way.
