You go to blockchain.com and etherscan.io and grab the number of txs per day and divide by the average block time. Let me know what you get!

No need to count. There are statistics on those websites. Takes 30sec to calculate.
I checked from etherscan, best block seems like take 350 transactions for ethereum.
It is currently 5000 for semux. I didn't check bitcoin because it is less than eth as far as i know.

I only wish the devs would do a test of 10,000 txs / block so we would have a chance at mining those tx fees!
