What do you mean VR is not popular for the moment? There are several VR ICOs and also outside blockchain, it is super popular. It is not mainstream used yet, maybe that is what you are talking about, but I can see that changing very soon
VR is still not very popular, mainstream adoption is low. but it will grow in time and that will make projects like this more popular.
