That is nice to offer bitcoins for like charity and so forth. I know there are some well established charitable companies that will take bitcoins as donations. Now the issue i worry about is the fact that most of this organizations that i spoke of might not know how to properly handle bitcoins so they might sit on them till some accounting person noticed them. That i fear would make my donating to a local cause like hurricane victims a long drawn out process.
Yes, it is the fact that even some charitable companies are knowledgeable about bitcoin but most of charitable organizations do not know how to handle bitcoins. So, I think, instead of donating bitcoin, it is better to convert it first into flat prior to donating. The good thing about this is the idea that there are bitcoiners who think that a part of their earnings from the bitcoin will be given to poor or needy for help. But in my personal opinion, I will just set aside a part of my bitcoin earnings to help people around me who is needy rather than donating it into organization. Through that, I can monitor how my bitcoin earnings help and touch other people.
