The Asus board will work fine for your purposes so long as you're aware that despite there being 19 PCIe slots on the board, you will only be able to populate 13 of them with desktop/gaming GPUs (of either brand).
In order to use the last 6 slots you'll need to populate them with Nvidia P106 cards (I would also suggest you go to Asus' website and download the motherboard manual and read it before buying the board, just so you don't have any surprises).

Don't get me wrong, the B250 is a great option since it will reduce the need to purchase 'two of everything' (RAM, CPU, SSD, etc) to build two rigs. Just do it with your eyes wide open.
