Because bitcoin start 2011 and most of altcoins after 2014.also big sites accept bitcoin only "localbitcoin, paxful,...."

it is easy to get altcoin when have bitcoin.
Bitcoin invented in 2008 not 2011. The price of bitcoin is higher than others altcoins not because it was released before altcoin, i think the price of bitcoin is high because bitcoin is more and more popular, many people knew to bitcoin and they expect to be own it so demand is too big but in fact bitcoin only have 21 millions, this make the price of bitcoin is increasing very fast.
