I am one of IDEX ICO (Aurora Dao) investors. Today I received a message on my twitter, saying that this ICO is a scam and team members are using fake names.
Scammers will never give you their twitter or facebook profile links, because they are using fake names and stolen identities. Usually there are only fake linkedin profiles boosted via paid services
https://www.linkedjetpack.com/buy-linkedin-endorsement/. IDEX dudes are also using
hacked or bought profiles here on bitcointalk. User
FarmerOak who is posing here as a Aurora dao aka IDEX representative is using
woke up profile and that is the clear sign that his profile was hacked, or bought from somebody else. Last post in
January 2014 and then suddenly the new post
in May 2017.... Here is the screenshot and here is his profile

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;threads;u=206647;sa=showPosts in 2014 that dude was selling cheap computer parts on ebay and here on bitcointalk and suddenly he became a CEO of multi million dollar project ICO.

As you can see that scammers are well prepared.
ICO's do that all the time.
Buy higher ranked accounts for them to be able to post images on this forum (back when copper ranked account hasn't been introduced yet)
But yeah, I guess transparency should be the first key to this project. IDEX should come clean and answer these accusations.
Anyways, ED got hacked recently.
Any assurances that this won't happen on IDEX too?
