I believe you have a typo in the heading of your book. At least in the cover. It says CHANGE, shouldn't it be CHANGED if it has already happend or CHANGES if it is ongoing process. Anyway English is not my primary language but I still think it is mistake

Yes I also had this thought, but may be author means cryptocurrencies and blockchain in plural
But are also if he meant it in present tense, it might be also "IS CHANGING"
Because cryptocurrency is chaning his (and our lives) at the moment, it's the process which will go on for a long time
