I have a budget of 1,000 USD to get some mining hardware, I'd like tangible mining hardware. I might get Block Erupter USB sticks in a USB hub plugged into a raspberry pi, but I'm wondering if there are any better options out there that will get me mining as quickly as possible (So no BFL year waiting periods please

)Buy a BFL Jalapeno from someone. I haven't checked what people are asking for them atm. I'm pretty sure you can get a Jalapeno + Raspberry Pi with USB hub and everything with 1000USD.
