your english is fine. what they are arguing is because you sold its like you consented towards taking a loss when it will be back up there in their eyes. it will be just x amount of time. Its like that meme on twitter of the guy that mortgaged his house for 75,000 and put it all in bitcoin which he bought for 20k each then it fell a lot and he sold it all actualizing his losses/consenting to a loss. whereas if he held he could have sold at 20k when it got up there and gotten out without a loss if the pressure would be too much for him or held and made some money off of it
