I think the special bonus you are talking about is the discount they offer for those who will invest in early stage of ICO. I'm not sure about the percentage of discount but you can check it on their whitepaper.

Yes it is part of marketing strategy. In fact, it is common in every ICO of the project. They put certain amount of percentage in discount for the early investors and buyers of token.
