Heres a tip how to spot a 2018 rising coin. Find a coin which is not yet fully pump. And less than 10usd or lower. Answer is Cardano, IOTA, XRP, XLM... Thse coins are expected to do some magic in 2018. All of them is in the top coinmarketcap. 2018 is also the year of forked coins. Dont forget to save the forked coins you will get next year. sorry but saying that cardano,iota and xrp will give x100 profit is unrealistic and you can't look only at price of the coin. all of the above coins you listed have high supply so their price under 10 $ is for a reason.
pretty sure private coins will get a lot attention when regulations start to kick in
