If this was on Cryptsy it makes sense. Say price has been hovering around 0002 and someone wants to buy 10 btc worth. If they really want in and don't feel like buying through the exchange, they will only be able to fill a small portion for 0002. Most of the rest would be filled in in 00025-0003 or higher range. Also recently big buyers are coming in and realizing it's not as easy to get PXC for the market price without sending it up 20-50% hence the rise in price for the past few weeks as they try to buy in gradual for best bang for buck.Edit: who is pumping so heavily?
