I think it is still far away from bitcoin if you talk about the value and the caps.
Maybe in some years when bitcoin price is too high and cause its fee is so high, then people will consider and move into ethereum.
Many tokens are also built on ethereum blockchain and the transaction fee is still small and lil bit faster.
