I decided to keep my MEOW on my desktop and did not move them to Cryptopia. I was under the impression I could download the lynx wallet and just use the backed up wallet and peer files with it.

Perhaps you should save the private key of your Kittehcoin address to be sure.

No one exept the lynx team can confirm anything. But you can do like the rest of us. Read all the information available here, on the blog and on getlynx.io and make an educated guess.
