I am trying to run sentinel on my VPS and I'm getting the following error:
-342: non-JSON HTTP response with '401 Unauthorized' from server
Cannot connect to sucrd. Please ensure sucrd is running and the JSONRPC port is open to Sentinel.
I have sucrd running. Can anyone assist?
Some other user got same error from 1 euro per month server in Germany. We never got sentinel to run but masternode payment was coming in. This was server a related problem.
So I figured out the problem with this. In the document
http://sucremoneda.net/dvbfg/SucreMasternodeBETA.pdf, it makes NO mention of the fact that in addition to setting up sucr.conf on the Server, you also need to set up the same file in Windows. Once I did this everything worked and my masternode is functioning. This oversight should be corrected in the documentation. I'm surprised no one reported it before this.
I don't know what you are talking about. I have SUCR MNs running on Linux and a hot wallet in Windows and never touched the sucr.conf on Windows. The Windows wallet never talks directly to the MN. It just announces the MN/collateral on the block chain and the MN sees it because the messages share the same private key.
