I understood that the founders of Zclassic (Rhett and Joshua) are teaming up and are planning a Bitcoin hardfork with zk-SNARK tech by dec 25th. The hard fork will be called ''Bitcoin Private - (BTCP)''. I am following the Zclassic telegram and according to the discussion there, the hard fork will produce a coin with elements of bitcoin gold/cash and Zcash/classic combined (correct me if I am wrong). If this is really the case this hard fork can be super HUGE!!
This is definitely very interesting and possibly a brilliant move. Privacy coins actually have a use case (as opposed to the thousands of shitcoins on the market), so I wouldn't be surprised if Bitcoin Private gets a higher market cap than Bitcoin Gold (which most people think is a joke) over the next couple of months. Maybe it can even compete with Monero and Dash?
