I've just been told that its not the alpha version on the website, that is just the alphadevelopment console only.
The alpha version will be release at the end of January as was announced.
Either way, I've recommended that it be removed as its pointless and if anything is creating negativity
agree with you, better no demo version then a demo version who confuse the followers and investors. I dont really understand why the devs. can not wait till they can deliver the followers and investors a good working beta website.
