There is a big sell-off now in Bitbay which I think will continue. I dont think Bitbay will ever revolutionize anything. The People behind it has showed for everyone a loss of competense and knowledge. The Christmas "Surprice" has seriously forced me to sit Down and reconsider my possition in here, as it all started to reminds me about a kindergarden. As a investor for the last 18 years I have seen Things in the bitbay community that makes me wonder. Who are the People behind and how realistic are the idea they try to sell; that bitbay will be the New Ebay.com? I dont buy this idea, thats for sure! They dont even own the domene
www.bitbay.com
to me this is all too obvious:
* They will never become a New Ebay
* This crypto is just another copy of something, thought they have spent Money to let someone make a wallet and so on.
* I think owners of bitbay tokens should be more Critical about whats going on. The Project had a value last week that was 325 million dollar! This is Complete insane.
The market value has now seriously start to decline, but who really think bitbay will be a major Company like ebay, Amazon etc? Well, not me for sure.
I am done With bitbay, but I wish you all good Luck.
I would like to hear some other realistic opinions about this.Thanks.
Here's a 'realistic opinion" for you newbie: Go learn something about the subject, and the project in general before you spout off totally ridiculous accusations and "facts" you made up in your own head. And, I'm sure we are mostly happy you are done with Bitbay since you didn't bother to learn a single thing about it before posting this trash. This project has been around since 2014 and I assure you the market cap is not insane. In fact, it's quite low but, we're working on that.
I wanted to hear from others about their realistic opinions, but I can see that you dont like
sceptical questions. You push away these questions and called it for insults.
There are many questions I would like to discuss, but it must be free from wounded souls and bad feelings.
Do you really know how many poker and internet casinos there are in the internet? If you think this is a brilliant idea, making another poker casino, all I can tell you that you have no clue about what you are talking about. I dont think you have a strategy, just to hang on some more year and hope you quickly are able to get out `before house of card is falling?
There is over 1 billion tokens but nobody except from those who are behind all this know for sure how many more billions tokens they will create, in the long run. It would be nice to know how you guys distribute new tokens. Do you sell them in pack of 50000 each and put the profit in your own pocket?
I feel pretty sure that the real casino is to own bitbay tokens. The comunications to the community is childish and "see if you are able to find the package... so you can win 5000 tokens. Hurrayy".
You dont have more unbreakable contracts than where you got your blockchain code from or other blockchains. I am just sceptical to what I have seen lately. Who are the team behind this really? A bunch of toddlers, or high skilled professionals? I just lost my faith in the whole consept and I have a strong feeling that a lot of people will lose a lot of money on this. People that have put their money into something like this. I am afraid it will all end up in tears for so many. The team behind this project is from Poland as far as I know. I have to say in general; that the wheel was not invented there and I have seen other failed project from eastern Europe. The typical error is not developed any businessidea from the beginning. What is the vision, strategy (ahh maybe a little more than a X-mas surprice and a new wallet?). And have you told the "investors" how you are going to get there??
I suspect you are people with some knowledge about how to make cryptos, that is not difficult at all. Something very different is to develop and have a clear vision about the businessidea behind. Where are the money suppose to come from in the future and when? You suppose to start making money from this business in 2018, in 5 yerars, 10, 20 years?
As I said earlier. I would like to discuss this "company" and take a deeper look at its
strengths,
weaknesses, opportunities and
threats, a so-called SWOT analysis. But these tools or models may be unknown for you? I hope to hear from others out there, that can also discuss Things in a Critical way. Remember this. Nothing that can not handle daylight will survive in the long run.
It`s really bad you can not handle critics of any kind. It would be Nice to hear the plan for the near future of bitbay. What is the true business idea? To make a true Marketplace?
"The newbie". I am New in this forum, but i just dont undertand whats wrong With that? Was it wrong to participate into this forum maybe?
Do you get all your information on Twitter and have you bothered to look at the site or download the software? The poker thing was a side project. I'm the dev I didn't even work on it. I only coached the guy who made it because he already gave us the platform and I explained to him that multisignature with front end security was the way to go for his exchange he was thinking of building so we tested it on the poker platform. If there was a multisignature exchange it would have saved consumers BILLIONS of dollars (Mt. Gox, Mintpal, etc) you are casting it off as a poker site but it's actually a pseudo-trustless exchange/poker site due to the security model. It is extremely valuable code and could currently save exchanges from hacks. Don't judge a book by it's cover.
This coin is about unbreakable contracts which can revolutionize the world as we know it. My software Halo was the worlds first to even have smart contracts years before Ethereum and it is STILL to date, the only peer to peer contracting platform in the world. This software transcends e-bay. It's like e-bay, alibaba, barteronly, localbitcoins, freelancer combined. Because contracts can be made without the problem of deception (double deposit escrow) it can help so many industries. Also the rolling peg like I said is an entirely different beast and it will curb this volatility you see in crypto by freezing and unfreezing coins.
And if that isn't enough this was the worlds first decentralized markets with built in IMAP as well with hundreds of other features.
So what do you refer to by this alleged "house of cards" that I've busted my ass off for 4 years to build? Have you ever built software before and are you aware of how much work it is?
This comment I'm going to highlight because it shows how little you understand about crypto:
There is over 1 billion tokens but nobody except from those who are behind all this know for sure how many more billions tokens they will create, in the long run. It would be nice to know how you guys distribute new tokens. Do you sell them in pack of 50000 each and put the profit in your own pocket? This might be the dumbest question ever asked on this forum. First of all the coin supply is fixed at a billion. In Bitcoin and ANY altcoin you can't "create" more coins from thin air that is not how it works. Coins work by "proof of work" or "proof of stake" and coins generated through competing for blocks. So stop what you are doing and first go research how Bitcoin works. We don't "distribute" new tokens. If you buy 100,000 tokens and you stake it you get 1-5% per year in interest and thus you get new tokens. That is what secures the network because the people who win new tokens check signatures on transactions.
We don't have "more unbreakable contracts" than what? That wasn't even a sentence. Download the software before you really make a fool of yourself. I'm the ONLY coder of Halo there is no other blockchain that has double deposit escrow AKA unbreakable contracts.
The team behind this is not from Poland. You are confusing us with Bitbay.net. We are
http://Bitbay.market.
Who are these "people" or "team" you refer to? I'm the dev of BitHalo(BitHalo.org), BlackHalo and BitBay (bitbay.market). I've been coding for 4 years you maybe have this project confused with something else.
Also we CAN handle critics but we won't deal with FUD, lazy research, insults that are based on lies or false (like that we are from Poland which we are not or that code was taken from other projects which it was not or you just literally making up how you think crypto works to accuse people of pulling coins from thin air).
If you keep saying things like that your comments will simply be deleted for baseless FUD. Responding to you is a waste of my valuable time. We do pride ourselves on good customer service but check what you say before spouting off about things you don't know about.
