DeepOnion is aiming high. I don't think the DeepOnion Dev and Deeper as the project head will allow to put to vain all the efforts and trust of the community.
They will gain a little when they dump it but they(and the DO community) will gain greater than anyone could ever think. So I don't think they will do that.
