Maybe McAfee was trying to extort money. Did you not see the deleted tweet from XVG Whale? He claimed that McAfee wanted money and if they don't give it to him, he will "destroy" their market cap. Of course, that tweet has since been deleted but the pictures still exist.
McAfee is a public person with reputation, do you really think he will make such a stupid move? I am not saying he's an angel but requesting money for pump it's to risky for his reputation and out of his lig a little bit...
Mcafee has been a shady fuck that has been involved in horrible crap for ages and literally escaped a country to avoid getting investigated for murder
