I still choose eth and xmr as best altcoin, but for 2018, trading activity I'll use eth but for invest just use xmr. Those coin has great price action & volume at 2017 and I believe will still going for 2018. For ICO, I choose like ADX and KICK will survive than others, even this moment has low price and volume. As long you replace your strategy with stop loss and wise management, any coin you choose will give you great experience. Good luck to you.
