I think it's a reasonable suggestion to think it will get to $1 this year. Possible more. 'Privacy coins' will definitely prosper this year.
But, there are no facts in crypto!! No assurances and no way of realistically predicting a coin's growth as we are entering a completely new space. Traditional methods of interpreting graphs and using traditional stocks/shares/currencies can not predict future growth of cryptos with any degree of certainty. The mythical crystal ball would do just as good a job!

I'm holding some verge as I believe in it. I personally believe in >$5 - but longer term. $1 for 2018 is very achievable in my opinion based on real world usability, and the inevitable hype that will see all USEFUL cryptos make large gains in 2018 with mass adoption.
