From what I understand, the only way to overclock the current revision is to under-populate the board, using only 14 Avalon chips instead of 16.
No one knows how much overclocking the K16 will deliver.
There are design changes pending that might improve overclocking.
When the new PC boards are built and tested we should have a better idea of the K16's abilities.
