Dev posted as recent as 12/28. Perhaps they were enjoying the new year holidays? Pretty extreme to suggest that they abandoned the project. I'm sure they will post again. Also, they have a website update mentioned that I'm sure they're working hard on.
Many projects are silent, but the author of this project is probably on vacation, so give the author some time，If the announcement in advance is even better
