to the end of such a statement next time.But yes, there is a way to determine the actual hashrate: mine for 24 hours and then recursively iterate the number of coins received versus the "average difficulty over the last 24 hours" on the calculators at, e.g., minethecoin.com, to find the hashrate.
But if you know of a better way I'd love to hear it.
