https://community.xtrabytes.global/We will, of course, post updates, info, etc of the testnet here on the ANN as well . . its just much easier to coordinate with testing, on a dedicated server channel in the Discord.
It's been two or three weeks since the patent was submitted, just a tad bid curious since the testnet can't start without the patent going through? I'm not trying to spread FUD but I am curious. Why is it taking so long? Could you elaborate on the method that the developers used? If we have to wait until 2019 that would be bad
According to this, a patent can take up to 21 months...
http://www.ericksonlawgroup.com/law/patents/patentfaq/how-long-does-it-take-to-get-a-patent/Does that mean that the patent will be mid-2019 and the tech won't work until then as well?
If we have to wait until 2019 for his new technology for both to play out...won't it just be vaporware until then? Why not change it to open source so it can deploy immediately and allow forks, but accept credit for the new technology?
Not trying to discredit his idea, but if he is in the USA. The wait times won't be in January is why i'm trying to dissect his plan to figure out..
So this won't be called FUD, i've included some links to USA law. If the testnet relies on the new technology, it may not be in January which concerns me. So if you or a mod could go over this with me, I would be grateful.
