Re: Working Abroad is a lot of sacrifice.

Good point. I think I can answer this by experience. My mom is working abroad, and although she has only been there for a couple of years, I sometimes feel sad that she's not around as often as before, not only me, but my siblings as well. Even if we're already adults, we are so used to the set-up that my mom is around and could help us at any time, or can talk to us whenever we like. It's a big adjustment, but it's not that evident because we're adults now, and we just don't want to be crybabies about it. But, it surely is a big sacrifice not only for the person working abroad, but also, for the family that is left behind. Fortunately, technology makes everything closer.

At least you guys are grown up. I have seen many cases in which women in their 20s had to leave behind their infant children, in order to find work. It can be quite hard for the little children, who will be forced to stay with the grandparents or distant relatives. But there is no other choice available for them.
