Madmac I just read all your recent posts regarding DeepOnion. I cannot seem to figure out if you see a potential in it or not.
I did and do arbitrage trading for a long time. You can check out my older posts.

The coin is a scam, there is no feature other than TOR in it, what they advertise is a complete lie, it is not anonymous. But they build successfully a big community of lemmings that pay for the older members. They are forced so to participate in the so called "airdrop" (which it is not but that was discussed before). Or simply call it Ponzi.

You can play in this space and make good money until these dividends stop. Price is driven up till then to get the best return for their 14 million premined coins which already started to get dumped.

It's a scam operation of a handful of anonymous people (yes, that is where anonymity comes into the game) and that think they can make an easy return on 14m * 6.50$ = 90 million US$ to date. They think they can do this without the taxman seeing it. So it is not only internet scammers but criminals we talk about here.

To answer your question, no, I do not see any potential in the coin other than making some easy money on the way.
