I think it was an indication. That doesn't mean to say it won't be ready by mid-January but I think Octa won't want to give concrete dates until ANX have made the necessary updates that were discussed before Christmas.
You are correct. No specific dates were given in the Telegram chat. I think the exact wording was something like "to fix the settings will take until mid-January". I guess the way I understood it was that in a best case scenario, things will be fixed sometime around the middle of January. Hopefully it works out this way.
