I am now trying to reinstall the bitcoin chrome app but i just cant find it in the uninstall program feature in windows. I see my other wallet apps there but not the bitcoin app.
The bitcoin wallet app by ledger is a chrome app and therefore can only be installed/uninstalled via chrome.
You have to open chrome and type
chrome://apps into the URL bar. You will be able to open/uninstall the app from there.
Are all of your applications (ledger manager, bitcoin chrome app, nano s firmware) all up to date?
